Wood HQ is proud to announce the launch of Septembersong, a family-friendly nature and music festival with a focus on sustainability. The event will take place on 6-8th September at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire and promises to be a celebration of song, creativity, and connection. The brainchild of the team behind the award-winning Wood Festival, Septembersong aims to continue the mission of building community through music and the arts while also highlighting the importance of sustainable events. The event will be a unique opportunity to experience the creative process in a beautiful countryside location. Musical performances at Septembersong will include the likes of Danny and the Champions of the World, Lunatraktors, Dan Whitehouse, Pete Astor, Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou, and Hannah White. In addition to live music, there will be interviews with songwriters, community singing workshops, and campfire singalongs for all to participate in.
Attendees can also look forward to a ‘Winter Bookender’ ticket, which will grant them access to both Septembersong and Wood Festival next year at a discounted price. In line with the Wood HQ team’s commitment to sustainability, Septembersong will feature an Old Ways Makerspace, where attendees can learn about and participate in time-honored methods of making in collaboration with nature. Activities include basket-weaving, forest-bathing, and sourdough breadmaking. There will also be a Junior Makerspace to make the event truly family-friendly. Braziers Park, a conscious living community in the Chiltern Hills, will serve as the backdrop for Septembersong. The location can be easily reached by car, bus, or train, making it accessible for all attendees. For those who are not keen on camping, pre-pitched bell tents with comfortable beds are available for booking. Wood HQ has been organizing Wood Festival since 2008 and has won numerous sustainability certifications and awards for its efforts.
